Quite a few cafes, coffee shops and pubs in St Ives. Had hoped to join you for a few miles in the Hunts. area but have been stricken with the shingles. Not pleasant I can tell you.
I haven't had a lot of luck finding cafés that are a) on the route and b) open on a sunday.
We go through quite a few small towns / big villages so we can always stop for cake if we see any.
Long range weather suggest that this lovely alternating sun / hail / sun pattern is likely to continue. Unless things get totally apocalyptic I'll be sucking it up and the ride will happen regardless.
Roll on sunday!

Those wheels were built to flip from side to side with no need for dishing. Problem is that it looks odd with the radical dishing. Be best to find a double fixed wheel if you could. I have set out to use a G/F hub for fixed and then ended up taking a DF from another bike as the wheel looks balanced.
obviously i'd cut the bits off. I've got an axe in the spare room
no powdercoat though as it's nearly GBB alreadyredishing is something i know nothing about, i guess that could decide it for me

I think BA used to supply a cheap plastic bag at the airport - but that was a couple of years ago.
i had another reply from BA stating that it has to be a recognised bike bag.
i asked them if a cardboard box was a suitable case.bit of a shit to turn up and the airport and be told no though.
anyone got a bike bag going cheap, very cheap?

[QUOTE=happytramp;2799991]No way! Yes it is. He's a friend of yours???[/QUOTE
We were both members of the V-CC and used to meet up at some of the events. Also had meals with him when we were in Glasgow (not that often). He built some frames with very fancy lugs and some in the modern-style for a few friends. I guess he only built a handful over the years so quite a rare bird. Like your build by the way and will look for you in Gaiole. Will be on a 1957 Cinelli Corsa and Patricia probably on a dark-blue and chrome Flying Scot.

6 MAY is the date for the Tweed Run, if you've not already seen the promo trailer on our site, and / or registered for the lottery.
Hi Jacqui---------Patricia and I will be away in Florence that weekend (shame it wasn't the Florence Tweed Run). Have a great day, life should be a little easier on a B H Sunday.

It looks like a private eBay account that seems to be now selling exclusively only Brooks saddles. Not much feedback to be a dealer (although dealers have to start somewhere I guess).
Not sure anything can be done about this account but I'm pretty sure it's well dodgy too...
Perhaps everyone should contact the seller asking to pick up as he is based in London. Nuisance value if nothing else.

This is really interesting to see the name of Paul Donohue being cited here. I do own a Paul Donohue track frame 853 which is also a small size, however the top tube has no slope, actually a slight downards slope, but the red really match the red on the picture of your wife's bike. I would be keen to know more about Mr Donohue (in PM if not related to the bike in sale) if you ever have the chance to share this with me.
Sorry for the hijack, but bump for a beauty that I would buy if I havent had this other bike already !
Pm'd as I don't want to hijack sale thread. Maybe someone should start a Donohue thread

If you contact me I could give you the email of Alvin Smith who wrote a lot about M N for our website (C L). Being a vintage collector he will say you should restore it period correct, but it is your frame to do what you like. There are a couple of M N in Readers' Bikes as well - have you seen them?................Peter
