I've stuck 2 washers outside of the locknut on the driveside already otherwise the quick release doesn't close, sti;ll the wheel is leaning to the left...
Help me :'(
If you move one or both of the washers to the left wouldn't that move the rim to the right. The spacers will still be and possibly sort out the QR.
Maybe though you had to use the spacers to reduce the distance from locknuts and reduce the amount of axle going into the rear ends?
I think an image of the axle end with the washers will help.

What?!in the new stepped up world of hipster tagging Im pretty sure that doesn't count! Get your climb on innanzi, summit or didn't happen....
Professor Harvey Smith from the Law Faculty ('As Seen on TV University', Cambridge) states that Rule 39, Subsection 2, Para b., of Bicycle Tag Rules, 2012 clearly show that "two different bikes in one tag are equal to 25 feet of elevation".
The last tag is nothing to do with the university or colleges. About 5-600 metres from polo court as crow flies.

Plumbers use a substance to freeze pipes while they work on them, I'm sure someone her knows what it is. Place head of seat post in vice. Spray seatpost with freezing agent (you have quite a lot left out). Pour boiling water over seat tube just below seat cluster. Turn frame - using it as a giant lever. The contrast between contraction of the seat post and expansion of seat tube may do the trick. It worked for me on a mountain bike.

for a simpleton like meself who's shite at gear alignment, would gears need re-alining after rd has been removed, packed and re-assembled?
It should be fine. You will leave cable attached so nothing could change.
Handlers have a habit of dropping the bag and I have had one or two chainrings bent. I started removing them as well but later made an alloy sub-frame which sat in the bottom of the bag. Had short verticals into which the ends were bolted. This just held rings clear of bottom, it only works with a small frame in a decent sized bag,

I think they will prefer a quill pen Harvey!
Got knocked off my bike by a car on Saturday, just when I was getting fit again. Nothing broken but just about able to walk at the moment.
