Are there any clips/straps that don't eventually ruin shoes? I prefere having at least one bike without clipless pedals but I also prefere having shoes without the leather all scuffed off the toes!
Have thought about lining the inside of the plastic with a fabric but never got around to it.

Out of interest bigtwin, where might someone check their frame number on a Pinarello to get a bit of history on a bike? My Asolo is a lovely legit thing but I'd like a bit of catalogue info on it.

I think this may have been done by a good pal of mine who lurks on this here board. He's a gallery artist but does a bit of this stuff to pay ze bills on occasion. Clever innit!

It's the type right? They're all slightly different in how they swing / little levers, stiffness of straps etc. It took me a day or two to get used to my new ones. I reckon the way forward it to set the straps super loose to begin with to give a big cage to aim at, then tighten them later once you have the knack.

Attempted to do what Ed? Looks like they went in for disks and hubs? It actually looks like a "try as you might we'll fuck you somehow" type effort. Someone did it to mine in the locked yard outside my flat. I locked it like a good'n so some little cnut snipped through everything he could for giggles... chain, cables etc. Didn't take anything just wrecked my day. I actually had a bit of a tear as it was so unnecessary.
Not to rub salt, but whilst we're on the 'How To Lock Your Bike Thread', wouldn't this have been a better example of security if one of those locks was run round a stouter section of railing than that?
