Interested, can get the time off, just haven't booked travel yet.

spokesave.co.uk , 36 for £6.49 + £1.99 post how ever many packs. Not the fanciest spokes, but pretty resilient; more likely to break the nipple than the spoke.

So has anyone still got 48h 700 Sputniks available? (importers aren't much help!)
If not, are Chukkers tougher than Aerowarriors; or suggest 48h alternatives?

@ Jewsef: Haven't seen the Perro rear, but I've been running the 48h disc front for a couple of weeks & it's easily the equal of the Surly it replaced.

That's why I was asking! 390 or 400 works fine for me. Tony, if it's in that range would you be ok to hand the fork to my homies at Cambridge? I'll give them cash to bring or pm me re. payment.

Is the P2 disc version? if so what's a-c measure? Cheers

Mines got like a little circlip holding that pivot, & the same adjustment you describe.

I got a pair of SD5, with the same type adjuster. Left lever blade slightly bent, but it looks like the blades are interchangeable. I'll bring 'em.

26" mtb forks can work fine for a 700 disc setup, it's what I'm using. Shape of the crown in that pic looks like tyre clearance could be an issue. My alu ones are a bit flexy so I'm hoping P2 or disc trucker turn up, Planet X Kaffenback forks are worth considering. I've got a v-brake version on my loaner, works fine.

Do sound good, don't they? Main thing I'm after is the fork but better wheel's next, these hybrid cast-offs won't last too long!

I'm looking for a disc brake fork, 395-400mm a/c & >230mm steerer. Ideally Kona P2 or Surly Disc Trucker. (& 48h disc front hub or consider wheel) I'm in Bristol so posting might be a faff but will be going to Canterbury Tourney so could put actual cash in your hand there. Cheers
