Thanks for that @TurtleRecall . I am looking for something rechargeable so I might give these a spin. However, I am slightly worried about the safety of the chargers... I'll just charge them at work though I guess.

no handrails to prevent people from falling into the ginormous cavern of death
On the second viewing I was trying to look around a bit more and this was something I found really worrying.
Also, when Rey is tripping out/tripping over after coming into contact with Luke's light sabre, I liked the quick glimpse of the Knights of Ren (I am assuming that's who they were). They might feature a lot more in the next film if Ren needs a new posse to run with after the demise of the First Order.

Squark Bean Brothers Espresso Stout and Blackjack The Pokies last night. I enjoyed the Espresso Stout, but it wasn't really one that you could drink much of. Didn't really like The Pokies. I had a pint of Blackjack's Four of a Kind the other day and The Pokies had the same problem; they both had an odd, slightly dirty, taste.

I went into Beermoth to ask about the cafe, but didn't really find out much more than what I already knew. They want to serve stuff on draught, it will open "at some point in December", and they are going to put more information out on social media as things develop.
And Bundobust seem to be opening a place in Manchester too. It looks like I'm really late to the party on this one

does it have to be the real McCoy or would something like this do the trick?

@Netakure I haven't tried the airport route, so I'll look that one up.
@alialias I am a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to cycling apps, and have never got involved with Strava. Sounds like a good shout though.
@rhb true. All my efforts to do this in the past seem to end with me cycling on A roads though, and it would be nice to get some local insight.
@c0gsucker haha! I was actually hoping to find him on here, but I'm not sure whether he uses the forum.

I'm up for anything really, but to make it make it more relevant to this thread: routes that might be suited to a Wednesday Night Ride. It would be good to learn a few in and around Manchester. I am open to ones that are a bit longer too. GPS maps like the one @c0gsucker provided a few pages back would be ideal.

It seems okay, but I will check when I ride home tonight. The position is pretty comfortable overall, but my hands get a bit achey sometimes when I'm riding. I know that it could be a number of things, but I think that I have finally got my position about right and am hoping that switching levers will sort the rest out (optimistic).

Haha! Would something like this be a better shout http://www.wiggle.co.uk/tektro-rl520-drop-bar-brake-lever/ ? Does anyone have any recommendations?

Have just finished a bottle of the Tart; my first and last foray into sours. Had a bottle of Jaipur at the Sedge Lynn before that. It's about £2.50 a throw there, so you can't really turn it down. Also, I picked up a bottle of the Thornbridge Brouwerij 't IJ wheat beer and it is suddenly in 500ml bottles and reasonably priced. Did they realise that charging £3.50+ for a 330ml bottle was a bit much? If so then good on them!

Did anyone get/see anything good at the jumble sale this year?
