From the available players Chelsea team will likely be Schwarzer, Ivanovic, Cahill, Luiz, Azpilicueta (Dave) or Ashely Cole, Lampard, Matic, WIllian?, Salah. I don't know how he can deal with the remaining 2, maybe Ba, Torres and Eto all play some time and 2 at a time or risk Shurrle/Oscar.
Not much choice given the mixture of players ruled out/not available for prem or champions league, the team basically picks itself from the remaining squad. If you were fielding that team with Suarez/Sturridge up front you could expect to win the champions league, without great performances from the strikers (which can't be expected) Chelsea have no option but defence. Luckily this is our strong point.
To those detractors complaining about Chelsea parking the bus, have a word with yourselves. Athletico knocked out Barca in the previous round, no surprise we played like West Ham away.
If Liverpool maintain their current team for next years Champions League I look forward to seeing them play open attacking football with leaky defence against Europes best teams. Watching their performance against Man City they are very weak when the opposition controls the ball in the Liverpool half. I doubt this will be the case on Sunday but I hope it is.

Kalou used to wind me up, when he would miss a perfectly good chance and walk away smiling. There again he knicked a few important goals. If there was ever a player who should have had his luminous boots taken away, he was the one.
Mourinho is talking the same language as the fans, why not? At least then he sounds like a fan of the club not a manager trying to cover his ass.
I know for a fact he's a decent bloke with plenty of time for the fans, he has massive support at the club and it's refreshing to hear him say what we're all thinking/talking about.
The strikers need to step up, of course it's not helping to criticise them publicly if they can't perform but Torres looks like he'd rather not get on the pitch. If I was in his shoes I'd feel the same way.

If so, will this be viewed as the best attacking side in the Premier League era?
I saw a lot of games at Stamford Bridge that year, good times. Teams would roll over after a couple of goals, no one came to win, there was no shame in shipping a few more.
Drogba scored 29, Lampard 22. Won the Fa cup as well.
They conceded 32 goals, Liverpool have already conceded 38. Probably would have won the league it by now if their defence was a good as the attack.
When they got rid of Ray Wilkins in November '10 it ended there and then. Night and Day. Biggest mistake the club made at that time, he was perfect for Chelsea.

I'm selling boxes (25 x 12") of House vinyl to dispose of a collection of 2500 records. There are 1500 boxed and ready to go. I've been selling some on ebay - search for "25 vinyl job lot" you should see my listings starting at .99p.
I'm also letting the House genre ones go at £10 a box. PM me for a comprehensive list including hundreds not listed on ebay yet.
The collection belonged to a mate of mine who passed away a couple of years ago, I've gone to the trouble of listing and boxing it up to save it all from destruction. It's been an epic job for little or no real financial reason, just the love of vinyl.
Sorry to spam the thread but this vinyl needs a home and this is where the house lovers hang out.

Think I found out why my embedded photos were getting knocked back to Thumbnails. Size! Some subjects deserve more than 640 pixels.....

Not in their own hands anymore is it?
