I've used the fake bontrager XXX ones for the last couple of years and never lost a bottle, even with the amount of potholes we have round here. Think they're on eBay for 6-7 quid

This definitely deserves more than a parts bin build. Things I'm looking for if anyone has anything. Not got tonnes of budget, but would like to do the frame some justice.

Brake callipers - either Force/Red/Ultegra/Dura Ace or something weenieish.
7800 rear mech or Force/Red shifters and mechs, either 10 or 11 speed

And please don't look at the pedals. They were only so I could ride it in the back lane...

Problem is, I was hoping to swap everything over from the dale, but it's less tempting if I can't use my everyday wheels. Got some Reynolds assault/attack (?) which just fit. Seems to be the depth more than anything, as the stays get wide about 30mm below the brake track. Modern, wide but shallow rims might work.

Edit: just realised that's what the enve might be!

Hadn't even occurred to me. Would make a nice weenie/hill climb bike but don't really have the time/money/inclination. Might have to sell it on.

Frame arrived today, at which point I realised that my deep wheels are too wide and are fouling the chainstays. Got some other wheels which I think would foul too as soon as any power was put through them. Not sure I can really be arsed finding something to fit.

Selle Italia then presumably? They look decent but might wait for sale prices. Dunno if a Rapha saddle is taking FKWering a bit too far; feel bad enough about the bidons.

Yeah, gorgeous. Got some 38mm crabonz to go on it, keeping an eye out for 10 speed Red. Shame mine isn't in that paint, but still got some fades.

The one coming is a 54, but it has a 56 top tube so hoping it fits. Will see how it is and might swap group and wheels over from the system six. Aiming for something as attractive as this, but on a bit of a time/money budget so it might be a bit of a long affair.
