I think the cardboard bike wins on the cheaper front (although I'd be shocked to see it actually on sale fore $9), pretty damn ugly though.

I said nothing about the material, what I meant was that the work done on the materials development side has been completely undermined by lack of thorough research into the geometry and other considerations. It can't be a piece of good design without thoroughly taking into consideration all the different aspects that go into design in that area.

I love lug work but I really like the simplicity of this frame, the aesthetic detailing of the frame is now in the geometry, no ugly welding joints, pure, clean, simple. Adolf Loos - "Ornamentation is crime"
This is a bike designed by someone who doesn't understand the design of bikes. This is one of my main annoyances with concepts like this, they come from what sounds like a 'great idea', but the designer hasn't taken the time to do the proper research into the area they're designing for, and the end result is just plain stupid to anyone who knows anything about bikes. Always ends up with unridable geometry, or removing all adjustability for a 'cleaner' look.
100% aesthetics 0% usability does not make good design.

As for the tyres, I couldn't find a difinitive opinion on the internet about them, hardly anything in fact, so I thought fuck it they look nice.
Have criteriums on the road bike. For the most part I got on fine with them, but they really don't seem to like long rides in the rain...
Bike looks good, I'm a little bit jealous.

Does look interesting, wonder if its able to handle other touch targets than just the keyboard, would be a much more compelling idea if it could create any shape required by the interface.
Kind of think that just adding tactility to touchscreens isn't the way forward though. It will be a better experience than what we have now, but it still is really limiting the hand to taps and swipes, when its capable of so much more.
