In a bit of a problem...

I'm trying to remove a crank arm which has had it's threading dis-formed by an idiot (previous owner). It looks as if he hammered the metal crank dust caps into the threading which then mangled them :(
I managed to remove the cap but am now left with no threading so I can't use a crank extractor. Had anybody had this problem before and successfully removed a crank arm without an extractor??

Any help would be much appreciated.

5) Large beater/winter Marin (Potrero Hills?) frame + HS
Top slight is slightly sloping so bear this in mind.
Seat tube: 57 (c-c) 60(c-t)
Top tube: 58
Head tube: 205mm

So, this frame came from a bike I recently bought on ebay. The only part I wanted/needed was the carbon fork. Thus, selling the frame on.

It was sold as a Marin but has been re-sprayed white, so can’t confirm this. I've seen Marin 'Potrero Hills' frames and the shape matches this frame. The original paint job is coming through on the chainstays and it matches the potrero hills colour.
The Logic Headset is included and works well.
*Will also chuck in a free Sakae seatpost and a ratty white Bontrager Inform RL saddle (see number 8).

The tubes have an aero-ish profile.
Pretty ratty condition. plenty of scuffs and scratches. the price reflects this.

I need to raise funds for travelling in a month, so I'm going to be selling quite a bit of stuff over the next fortnight :)

Here are a set of Mavic Ksyrium SSC wheels. Shimano freehub.
Older version. not much use.

These wheels are in great condition. The bearings are super smooth. Both wheels are true and the braking surfaces are flat.
Some of spokes have slight scratches from grit etc and the rims have a few scratches and scuffs, but nothing major. There's a very small scrape to the braking surface on the front wheel. see 3rd pic. This doesn't affect braking whatsoever.
These have loads miles left in them!

The freehub is shimano and I think it's 9/10 speed.
The original Mavic QR skewers are included.

I'm asking for £180 + postage SOLD (as I'm in Bristol. collection possible)

*Tyres and tubes not inclued, tbh I doubt anyone would want them :P

I didn't get charged any. I'm pretty sure I got him to to mark the package as a 'gift' and maybe of a low value.

Seen 'em online for £8 which is reasonable.
