^ cant remember exactly how much it was, but stem was really badly ceased in the frame and I struggled to get it out, ended up down in the LBS for a while, cost £30 in labour for them to cut that out (plus new stem), and a couple of other changes

It has been sprayed black at some stage in its past, which makes it look much rattier, I scraped off some of the paint to check if there are any decals hidden but couldnt find anything, the paint underneath looks to be in really nice condition, pearl ice blue colour as you can see on the forks in particular

Anyway, its a perfect little project, the black paint could clean off pretty easily or keep it as a rat....its structurally perfect from what I can see, true lugged steel frame, not drilled for brakes, pretty good geo (the rear wheel can be slammed more), it measures 57cm square, it does need some work, headset is ok, bb needs a service or replacing, if I was going to keep it I was going to replace the chain, the stem was stuck but got the LBS to cut that out which was a pain, but its fine now, seatpost isnt stuck

Component-wise, the cranks are Stronglite track cranks, ITM cosmos bars, saddle will be changed to a beater Selle Italia, but otherwise comes as is, the wheels are Charge Dish, both run straight and true, rear never been braked on, front has wear to rim

Once the bb and chain are sorted, this should run really nicely, but can be ridden fine for now, depends if its going to be pub fodder or something nicer

hey all,

does anyone have some security skewers for sells? ideally Atomic 22 ones, I have a couple of bikes I would like to make more secure, so let me know what you have, im sure I can use them.....

I could use a cheap security skewer on my beater front wheel, and have front and rear on my road bike which i would like something decent with, likewise on my nice track bike (phil wood wheels, front skewer and rear bolts)
