Obviously has nothing to do with why she stepped down.

It does what it says in the can, would be ideal for your suggested use - in fact, I might do the same as my office has a Nespresso machine which I obviously avoid.
Only thing to be aware of is that it uses mini little filter papers that can be difficult to get hold of (although you can just cut down full sized ones).

The Morning Star, showing The Guardian how to do it right:

Lawson’s signature policies were bank deregulation and the fire-sale of Britain’s public assets.
Today millions feel their consequences. The soaring price we pay for energy and water just to line the pockets of transnational corporations is one legacy. The pollution of our waterways and beaches by suppliers whose raison d’etre is profit alone is another. The longest pay squeeze in 200 years ever since the financial meltdown of 2008 is a third. -

I'm originally from the shithole that is Wythenshawe.
Many years ago I used to ride my bike to Bruntwood Park to play on the Zip Wire they had.
If I remember correctly, the good people of Cheadle / Bramhall were never too keen on having council house types in their park.
Love the occasional news update from south Manchester that pops up on the forum, makes me feel......wistful.
