No need to thank me, ATACs use the same shoes as SPDs. They are strongly reccommended for riding brakeless, unless you just pootle to the corner market for milk.

For real. The mechanism looks different and I had always assumed would use different cleats. I've ridden shimano spd pedals brakeless for 6 months or so (5 days commuting, bunch of 100km+weekend rides) without a problem or any near misses, touch wood. If you really reckon there is a big difference i'll look into them.... Its' an ongoing project.

That diy disc tutorial reminded me of a link somene posted a while back of a small startup selling them, similar idea, made from some kind of plastic and secured with zip ties. For some reason I have a feeling it was Australian. If anyone remembers and has the link it would be much appreciated. And yes I tried to find it before posting this. Cheeers
