After loosing 2 pairs of v expensive bluetooth headphones I got a pair with a clip on the cord that atatches to the back of your collar. Such a simple idea that they all should come with. I'm sure you could make one out of a lil alligator clip from an office store or junk shop. I ride 9 hours a weekday day so podcasts and shit keep me sane... always with one earbud out for the safety obviously.

We fashioned a bed for him so it'd more comfortable and more protected feeling.

Hes pretty young and has been a quick learner. We started off away from cars at a park and kept at it. We just use a lot of positive reinforcement and make sure he's burned off energy so he's keen to get a free ride. All trips end with some kind of reward for his good behavior.

I thought exactly the same thing till I tried it. It kinda works really well. When you see photos of old fixed safety bicycles with barely functioning or no brakes and that was their steez.. Its fun.

My entire cbd is criss crossed with tram tracks so you couldn't get much more wet metal to navigate. I had to work on my cross bike with 'commuter tread' the other day and it sucked. Was glad to be back on slicks. All personal preference. I'm lazy and wanna roll as effortless as possible. Peace

Thats a lot of rubber to be pushing around all week. For a work bike I'm all about comfort but that level of drag would kill me. Kojaks are popular with messengers here. +1 on small frames.

Nice commuter. st Georges rd route? Did that for years. I'm living in Footscray now. There are many weekend adventures to be had. If you MTB Listerfield is great. Even yarra trails after work is ace. Will need to dry out a bit.
