Whose mtb shoes are you using. I now have Morton’s Neuroma (started last year) and it is never improved by going riding.
Who makes large toe box mtb shoes, anything that narrows around my toes compresses and antagonises the nerve.
Have been waiting for a month now for NHS referral and have had to resort to Vivobarefoot shoes, sandals and now have some Hoka trainers on order to help alleviate the compression in my foot.
Edited shoes for flat pedals.

I shouldn’t be but am surprised at how much difference the grains can make to spring and skin tension. I love the taste of spelt but it tends to result in loaves that sprawl a bit in the oven. Usually I have about 50% t60 organic white flour and the other half is a freshly milled grain. Yesterday the grain mix was 50/50 oat and emmer and am happy with the results.
You’d struggle with tabi and toe socks then.
