Hi I've had this up before but have made some changes (following advice). It is a 54cm full carbon frame (including rear stays) and I think it was handmade sometime in the 80s as it had a Sachs 'New Success' groupset on it when I got it. I've taken the gears off and had it resprayed and put lots of new parts on it. It has the original cranks (Sachs New Success), Modulo bars and stem, Sachs New Success front brake, Optimax headset and the San Marco Rolls saddle. I have put on a Shimano 600 seat post, new grips, halflink chain, Shimano DuraAce pedals, Quando Rear hub and deep section rim (from Varno) with a Gatorskin tyre and a Mavic OPen pro front wheel on a Shimano 600 hub, with a Bontrager racelite hardcase front tyre. And a new but basic Shimano BB.
I think that pretty much covers it, I also have the remaining Sachs groupset (front and rear mechs, brake and brake levers. It rides more like a 57 or 58 as it is high at the front and very high at the rear so probably suitable for someone around 6".
I've spent more than I should have on this and am going to lose out but am aiming for £350, or offers on the frame only. The front mech was screwed into a plate in the frame and could be reattached easily I'm sure. It is almost definitely not a Kestrel as I bought it in Innsbruck with some random stickers on it. Based in Brixton. Can deliver in London anywhere.
