I'm comparing jerseys only. Paid 75£ for each of UW's in condor, one short, one long sleeve.
UW seems to be much better quality than rapha and it's really nicely finished.
I have 2 rapha classic and 2 long sleeve jerseys and on each one of them i'm getting some threads pulled here and there. Long sleeve feels like cheap polyester karrimor jersey. They look great but are just not worth the money (Maybe it was some secondary stock as they come from sample sales, i don't know)Choosing between those two i'd go for UW again.
I was told that condor won't be getting any more in stock as they are not selling very well so if anyone wants to get them it's the last chance.

torm does only mens stuff
haven't tried shuttvr yet, some of the jerseys look nice but that's it
this is great stuff http://www.untouchedworld.com/collections/performance_cycling.htm
bought two of their jerseys in condor on sale
much better than rapha, but discontinued now in condor (still few bits left on the sale rail)loads of brands doing only mens clothes unfortunately

(Even though you, Quote: 'don't give a fuck' about the brand)
Sorry, i should have been more specific here.
I don't care if someone makes money on rapha.
I don't think that rapha should allow people to buy stuff in large quantities in sample sale (i'm talking about people buying whole boxes of gloves, warmers etc).
It's up to rapha to decide what to do with it.And obviously, i like the brand.

Obviously the latter of the two, so they'll be pleased if people are coming in droves, buying boxes of kit on the first two days at full price... Less chance of it still languishing in a box on Sunday.
Yes, and it's been said here before.
Rapha wants to get rid of their stock quickly and they don't care if someone picks the whole boxes of stuff.
Still don't see what's your point is.

If you can afford the motivation, spare time and the free cash to go buy even discounted Rapha; then there isn't anything poor about you! 8-)
FWIW I like Rapha... but I usually buy 'cheapo' cycling clothes 'cos I am tight and would rather spend on my bike.
Think about all those 'poor' souls, who: due to their unfortunate geographic placement couldn't make the pilgrimage to the 'mecca' of cheap Rapha. All those kind 'Saviours' who bought lot's to sell on eBay so that all those followers from far away can be graced with Rapha.
;)
What's your point Pistoffski?
Are you defending those who are buying in sample sale to sell on ebay?
Are you really that thick that you can't understand that word "poor" can be used sarcastically?
-
If you 'don't give a fuck about it' then why are you queuing? And what's 'poor' about people queuing to buy high end cycling kit a little bit cheaper? If they were poor they'd just go to Decathlon.
It's not like Rapha are selling this stuff out of the goodness of their heart or for a charitable cause is it?
(Just on the wind up... sorry ;) )
It's not just a little bit cheaper, it's usually around 70% off.
I can't afford full price but can afford discounted rapha. -

I don't understand why they built it with a double fixed hub, track drops and road brakes? From a major bike shops perspective, you still need a disclaimer signed to sell it fixed. It seems so confused - either it needs to lose the brakes and be track legal, or switch to a flipflop hub and road bars.
you can still put a freewheel on it or take the brakes off
but it's an odd set up, you're right
road brakes and track drops don't mix very well -

But why would you do it (apart from the looks) if there's so many saddle bags right now that do the job better?
Not worth 40quid.
