It isn’t time. Those wacky plans are put forward to simply carry on with oil.
This is why we’re in so much trouble. We have a whole civilisation built on fossil fuels, and no way of maintaining it without them, and their continued use will make the planet largely uninhabitable. The scary part is just how quickly this is happening, we simply won’t be able to produce enough food for everyone. -

Most saddlebags will sit horizontally on a bagman. Strapped to a saddle and seat post means they rotate their orientation so the contents can fall out. They also sway when riding out of the saddle.
I use both methods, just to the saddle / seat post is fine for clothing sleeping bags and lightweight stuff.
The bagman is much better if lots of small and heavier items are floating around inside the bag. -
They’re stinging nettle seeds.
Full of nutrients and abundant. I’ve been adding them to my diet for a while. There’s loads of enthusiasm for them among foragers

I went to my local lake for a dip first thing this morning. It’s a bit limited as I can only swim where there are no anglers and there’s some open water, but there’s a lot of weed growth at the moment. There’s one deep and sunny pool where I pottered about for 15 minutes and once I was out went for a little walk around the lake and to my surprise there were no anglers anywhere so I had a another dip in the main lake and swam for about 25 minutes before wandering home. A blissful start to the day.

Oh yes. It’s becoming catastrophic. Was in the Chilterns yesterday. Even in a fab little reserve there were next to no flying insects. One Chalkhill blue and two grizzled skippers on a sunny bank that I remember a few years ago having dozens on a warm day like yesterday.
No birds either. Nothing to eat. -

Those dispensers work on infra red. They’re not racist. Skin colour is irrelevant. It’s the position of the hand that’s relevant.
Facial recognition technology struggles with colour. Darker skin is harder to interpret so paler skinned people are more likely to be identified or recognised than darker skinned people. Not related to dark skinned people all looking the same. It’s the shadows / lack of contrast.
