Now that is fuckwittery of the highest level! A sbarro wheel design utilising a pizza sized bearing that will wear out about 100 faster than the small standard hub bearing (because of the relative speed AND the increased shit uptake), will cost a fucking fortune and add a huge amount of weight whilst removing rigidity.............to carry a tent around whilst dipping it in puddles....... WTF?? Truly this is the worst piece of industrial design I have ever seen.

What else can the Pebbles do other than show stuff from your phone?
The Bluetooth link goes both ways so you can control the music on your phone from your watch (actually surprisingly handy when your phone is tethered to an amp for alfresco music), you can use it as a camera remote for enhanced selfies etc. There are also various apps that use the GPS on the phone for cycle tracking etc.
Anyway, for £150, boom. Ordered in SS.
Come mid Feb there will be an all-black original pebble for sellz.

It's a big improvement on looks but i'm still not convinced on how useful the apps are.
What do you use yours for?
Cycling. That's it TBH.
I find it really useful to have my mobile tucked safely away out of danger and have my wrist vibrate to show me calls, caller ID, texts and email summaries without having to stop and haul out the phone. I'm physically incapable of not checking who's on a ringing phone and HATE pulling up and digging it out just to find it's a crap call. Same applies to texts.

Oooh, shiny shiny. May upgrade my pebble;

Robocock arrived. Kayfun lite plus built with teeniest battery;
Got the coil right on second attempt (poor light and bad eyesight doomed my first attempt). Running a 2mm microcoil over ecowool. AWESOME vape compared to my old system.
Really flavourful and a massive volume of vapour.
Zippo may be retired to firelighting duties :-)

Oh my dear Sworld, it is so tempting to be rude, but I won't be.
Yes, I do get your OP.
Yes, I do understand that you have a great HiFi system.
All I am trying to point out is that you can have a small, storable, portable, self amplified sytem to play your tunes on that doesn't use bluetooth that will sound better and cost you less.
I offered, purely as an example, the Roland Cube;
Which, at under £150, gives excellent reproduction, will run from a fistfull of AAs for a very long time indeed and has enough power to fill a decent sized flat or outside party with tunes.
Acheive the same with a bluetooth device then I congratulate you.
My ONLY point was that you sacrifice fidelity and pricetag for the non benefit of not having a short length of cable.
Enjoy whatever you decide to purchase. I hope you get many hours of listening pleasure.

Honestly though, I can't understand why anyone would use Bluetooth to stream music, except maybe for headphones when quality is less important than not having a wire. My car has Bluetooth availability to the stereo (Harmon Kardon so not low end) but the difference in quality when I plug in the iPhone is palpable.
Wasn't being dismissive for the sake of it, serious point.
I have a cube for choons when BBQing by the way, and for a lil box the sound (if mono) is awesome. Plus of courses it's my practice amp. -

Kayfun lite plus on order as a new year treat. I've had a non variable machine (not sure of the make) since early in the year but I tend to only use it in the car and still go for the Drum and the silver Rizlas.
Hoping that robocock ownership will pull me over to ditch the fags entirely. To be honest is shouldn't be an issue anyway as I only really crave a smoke when drinking.
Real problem is my beloved titanium zippo. Been in my trouser pocket for a decade.

I tried to ask this in the 'wallet' thread but its a pretty much dead thread so i'll ask here
does anyone have a card wallet/recommendations
i have a bulky wallet but all i carry is 8 or so cards. change in my pocket and a maximum of £20 in cash which i just keep in my pocket/a card slot anyway
would prefer something with at least a 2 or 3 splits to keep the cards a bit organised but thats not essential
#bloodyskinnyjeansMobilepocket app on your phone mate. I only carry bank and credit cards (in a lovely chrome exel wallet from Murts btw) all my loyalty cards, wholesaler cards etc are on my iPhone. Sorted.

I want to install a downstairs toilet as part of a garage conversion. The area I want to place the little reading room has the soil pipe coming through like this;
It's the old external wall with the cast iron pipe part buried into it.
Can I just diamond bore into it and connect a new inflow? I'd be worried about leaks from the inflow above - or is there some form of fancy fitting I could use?
Anyone done anything similar?

Ooh umm
