fair play, maybee its he English media grabbing at what they can i just hope that scotland football can regain it place above the media frenzy as it far better than that. i guess as you say its the ploliticised bits that raise up and are deeply untasteful, but it will always be a part of scottish club football.
It's even worse with the Scottish media.
We've always felt that it would be a club outwith the old firm who would get hammered for sectarianism, despite their antics, because basically they ARE the media.
Can't stand the pair of them. Two cheeks of the same spotty arse.

this season in scotland has been nasty lots of grief, any one here with more knowledge of why this season has been particularly nasty? the leannon incident is bad, i know lennon is a feisty character who does stirs up grief but it seems to be getting wosre this year???
Hearts ST holder.
Lennon was always hated by a mixture of fans. Some of that is because of who he is, some of it because of how he is, some because of his whining about the referees and so on.
I think this season has been bad because of the refereeing "scandal" when celtic claimed there was a conspiracy against them - despite getting a UK record 17 penalties this season.
The media have been desperate for a story and have whipped this into a frenzy.
Politicised celtic fans groups have been stirring things with a degree of internet/media savvy and have been able to paint themselves as whiter than white. 90 minutes of IRA chanting last night shows that they're not "the greatest fans in the world" as they claim...Example being today's statement by the Celtic CEO "This is Scotland's shame and it is high time Scotland addressed it." while failing to address the behaviour of their own fans. Meanwhile anyone who speaks out against them is labelled "Bigot."
Rangers fans have been up to their usual sickening nonsense and are in huge debt with a massive HMRC bill due. They feel threatened.
Societal and Economic problems.
SO it's been a heady brew of all that and more.

lol
thats the sort of response to expect to a serious question hereIt's the only response unless you want to get bogged down in a mire of socio-economic, religious and political debate about identity within scotland and more specifically the west coast.
Can't condone what the idiot did, can't condone his fashion sense either. But Lennon is a total rasper.

The neutral stage was very moving. Much as I love sport of cycling, I often struggle to feel respect for it. Last night I watched the last few km of the neutral stage, and found it very respectful and moving. A very fitting tribute.
I'm with French Touch, so....
103 points from yesterdays stage. Cant see much room for improvement for todays either really. Bit of a strange stage. My poor cycling knowledge predicts a breakaway, with the lumpy bits zapping too much energy from the sprint teams for them to reel it in.
Up in 18th overall after a poor(ish) points haul yesterday, so fell down from being second in the whole thing. Still in front in the league though, but for how long remains to be seen...

She only need a 2 or 3 tools to take the bars, wheels and seatpost off?
No friends who can help her with that?I know, I know. You'd think it would be pretty simple, but apparently not. One thing is, as she is an intern at the ICTY all her friends are interns as well, so only there for 3-6 months, and no that has a tool/knows anything about bikes other than owning one for getting about.
Anyway the problem I have is now trying to convince her to just get on with it and get it done...instead of having tearful conversations on skype...
So, measured the bike. From the back wheel end of the frame, to the front bit (not including the cranks), is a metre, measured as per the diagram earlier. The height without the seat/tires is about 60cm. generous readings. so that's essentially to the maximum size the box can be if dpd. being realistic, i just don't think that will fit. just used some pythagoras to calculate the diagonal, which would give 103cm, so still super tight, plus the height still super tight. would need to be 100% confident about box etc before taking the bike apart, and i realistically don't think i'll be able to get hold of a bike box anywhere near the right size, and thinking about it, not sure how i would cut it down to the right size, it still needs to be a box! remaking it into a new box the right size seems crazy!
Who would have thought something so simple...

^^Been looking for those for ages. I didn't think they were out yet. I hate this shoe shit...why do they get off on making it so difficult and frustrating for customers to get shoes they want?
Me too. They're only on sale "in store" and sold out quick as ****. Still a few shops stocking though.
I'd even emailed nike to find out when they were out but i got a really shitty email back from some cretin in customer services saying they don't deal with Nike SB...
