A couple of things...
Conclusion - to some extent anyone who says Froome is an average rider who started doping are saying that the one team who really set themselves up as anti-doping are now just about the only cheats in the business. Seems unlikely.Nobody thinks that. Also has nobody considered the fact that a person can dope without the backing/knowledge of their DS? Sky do themselves no favours though, set themselves up as a transparent anti-drug team who will only hire non-cycling doctors from the UK then basically do the opposite.

I know what you mean but unless we have wind reports for every ascent for the last 20 odd years time is the only thing we can go on for now.
Edit: For the record I think wind must have played a factor since there's a reasonable chance Quintana could have stayed with Froome had he not burned himself out with a solo effort. In which case we'd be looking a two 'record holders' so to speak

Frankly this thread has sucked hairy balls for about two days. Doping gossip can do one. It was a blessed relief yesterday when disgruntled Frenchies started lobbing bodily fluids about.
Unfortunately, it's the same on every single cycling website in the English speaking world. Non-believers arguing with believers. If more people used the internet regularly in 1999 it would have been the exact same. Superhuman performance in the wake of a massive drugs scandal. It's all part of the cycle.

Dan Martin lost time in the Vuelta for taking a wee in the wrong place.
