Worth bumping too new page.
Just read this on Dad Are the Original Hipsters. The last line made me snort coffee down my nose.

Your dad was into cycling before you were and he’s got the bibs to prove it. Seated atop a Brooks throne, he was a Campagnolo-king of the streets that downtube-shifted his way to hero status. He gave pedal-honies hot pants every time he paused his cadence to flash them a velo-stare. He could field dress a bike faster than most could fix a flat. And, the only performance enhancing drugs he ever needed was a cold PBR after crushing a century ride.
So hipsters, next time you’re asshole deep in your spandex while struggling up a mountain-monster and swearing you’re going to quit smoking American Spirits, remember this…
There’s only one thing that your dad rode harder than his road bike… -

Looks like he had a fake account set up to offer close to asking to make it look like a good deal. But deleted it when he was rumbled. -

In your opinion, but you might not have sufficient detachment to have an opinion worth listening to on the aesthetic question.
You seem to have proven that a bike built on the piss can be ridable (although we all knew that anyway), but don't kid yourself that you have dome something that anybody else will be interested in, except as a circus side show.
Well without wishing to engage in some sort of verbal back and forth on the internet I would suggest that with this post you have adopted a needlessly confrontational and obnoxious attitude towards the OP's project. He stated on a couple of occasions that the true purpose of the project was to investigate the prospect of further applications for the technology employed..... and also because he thought it looked good. Bear in mind he never posed an 'aesthetic question' or asked you to listen to an opinion on one.

Tires
Okay, got to get some tires. Currently got 20mm tires but reckon it'd be bit foolhardy to tackle gravel roads with them (despite finding them very comfortable) Do you think I'd be best off changing to 23mm or 25mm?
