This is a pic before I put the calipers on, tried some hope ones I had that were hitting the hub, during lockdown I managed to get some trp mechanical calipers that worked but as I say scary close. I’ll take some better pics of how it’s setup now in the morning. Got a mate who had the same problem with the exotic fork

The carbon ones are usually green, think the Paul pic is of the regular black v2’s. I’ve been using those v2 duals and really like em -

Thanks lad, it was in great condition but ended up selling it cheap to a mate so he could get to work etc, he loves it....
Found an old kirk I’d forgotten about in the shed yesterday when looking for parts. Managed to strip and paint an old dale fork for the klunker/cruiser build. Plan is to use most of the bits off my beast of the east (way too small and I never ride it) for a quick klunker build -
Changed the stem and put on some mudguards for my old muddy fox for a mate.
Bought a retro “looking” cruiser mainly for the retro parts, xtr brake, kooka cranks etc, gonna put the brakes on a cinelli and the cranks on the yeti. Think I’ll keep the frame and put a 1x10 setup on it with some rigid forks and old magura racelines -

I’m 188cm and it feels too small (I can measure it in the morning), I’m into it for 230-250€ with a black and yellow Kevlar flite I haven’t got in the post yet. If it’s something you’ve been looking for then that’s a different matter but I think the Saracen you just got ticks the boxes in a better way riding wise.

Really happy, feels very long, but steering feels quick. Heard they’re meant to feel on point the faster you ride. Best deal I’ve ever had, saw it hanging in a 2nd hand bike store, usually they ask top money for stuff that not that great. Thought if it’s still there after work today I’d get it. Felt cheeky so asked for 30€ off he gave me 20€ so in 329. Gonna sell the muddyfox tomorrow

@Frerman Yep tange prestige tubing, the muddyfox comps are nice, I also remember seeing a special edition gold one somewhere on eBay recently

Here’s the clearance from the fork to rotor bolts. Sorry for the shite pic. I remember Hope or Amp Research had discs with a counter sunk bolt. I think I’m gonna put on a set of suspension forks and just be done with it.
