New raceface stem fitted yesterday, gearing a tad low. Still a bit small for me though );

Snap! I turned the heated seats and heated steering wheel on for the first time this year after working outside all day. Absolutely loved it saved my ass on a 100mile drive home, trying to figure out if I can put em in an old car now.

Love this build!! I’d put the spinners back on and use a dreaded ahead adapter.

@boredom sorry for the late reply. Over cantis. I personally like the fit and forget quality of hs33’s and the braking is better compared to a lot of v brakes. But I’ve also drilled out the brake bosses for the hose so can’t go back now.

We’re having trouble getting parts for Schindlers lifts in Germany, took 2 weeks for parts for a car lift. Don’t think it’s to do with brexit, they blamed logistics which is just a broad excuse they use

Went to help with bodywork on my mates car today, stumbled upon some nice old cars in need of some love

Got some magura hs33’s out of the parts bin for my old Cannondale, loving the improvement in braking, all bled and time for a ride.

There’s no room to fit full mudguards because of the brake boosters so I’ve been using sks clip on mtb guards if it’s pouring. Takes a min to clip em on and off.

New Maxxis tires, brake pads and bottom bracket on my city bike. Unfortunately someone tried to cut the lock the other day, so decided to ‘thief proof’ it a little, found a little hard plastic ball off a pin so glued that into the seatpost and stem, pretty happy as it’s kinda color matching.

I bought a Blaupunkt Bremen at the beginning of the year, easy to use and install, bit pricey but ticks all the boxes and has a nice OEM look to it.

They’ve gone up crazy money the last couple of years, I started looking for a 3 door earlier this summer. Been working on the lwb 4.2v8 this week, I’m blown away by the size of the interior compared to a modern rangey, I can throw in 3 bikes easily without taking the wheels off. I haven’t driven it in a month and found a new leak yesterday. Got some pretty cool cnc’d scuttle vents and a custom coolant metal coolant reservoir gonna try and install this weekend. They really are a money pit but hopefully the end is near.
