Ordered a pair very late last night and got confirmation this morning...money's gone from the card so hoping they arrive this week - couldn't really turn down the opportunity for a pair of them for £120 (after codes and Quidco) having read all the reviews and the only niggle seems to be around their cost!

Are there any Norwich fans on here? I’m excited about signing James Maddison, am I right to be?
Missed this earlier...he's brilliant. Probably the best player I've seen play for us technically, and the most exciting to have come through* since Eadie and Bellamy did years ago.
He's not a pacy player, his style is more close control and the ability to twist and turn away from players - he has the knack of always looking as though he's in space which is a mark of all good players. He's obviously been brought up right, as he's always come across as someone with his head screwed on...and he has a natural, laid-back swagger on the pitch that reminds me of a young Beckham - his dead ball ability is incredibly similar.
He will comfortably play for England in the future (in my opinion) and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him captaining the national side. I think you've got a bargain at the reported £22m, we won't have a player in the side of that quality for a long, long time.
There's a good video of his ten years at Coventry here
, and one of his time at Norwich that'll probably excite you more here
.- Okay, he's not one of our own...we nabbed him from Coventry!

Format 80-minute match - penalties to determine the winner if scores
are level at full-time.We've got them coming to Carrow Road on Sunday to play a Norwich City Legends side that appears to have been constructed by finding anyone that could still run around a bit and owns a pair of boots...looking forward to it!
We're also doing 80mins, but no penalties if the scores are level. How odd.

...and if they can't fit you in @Stonehedge we've just had ours re-done (old suite completely gutted and replaced, tiled walls and floor) by Paul at Southern Bathrooms who I'd recommend.
We're Dartford based, but pretty sure he'd head into SE London.

There are some great paint manufacturers, F&B is not one of them, you really only find that out if you try some other brands.
Any recommendations for durable paint? We're re-doing the hallway and need a white and grey that'll go on and not have to be thought of again. Got some grey Dulux emulsion (Urban Obsession is the colour, apparently!) in the lounge at the moment but it hasn't half picked up finger prints around the light switch and sockets.
Looked at B&Qs Valspar v700 this weekend and the promotional bumph suggests it's what we're after but a quick google has reviews ranging from excellent to appalling so not sure who to believe!

Wasn’t the best of games (they rarely are) and think a draw was a fair result - our home form has been appalling this year, we just can’t break teams down in the final third.
Celebrations were more about the fact Town still haven’t won a derby, and today’s the closest you’ve come for a long while.
We’ll meet again next year, sure you’ll be under a new manager given McCarthy’s reaction today (although your lot singing ‘Mick McCarthy your football is shit’ as he made the third sub. at 0-0 was odd!).

Having been burgled in a previous rented flat our landlady put in dummy Yale boxes at the front and back of the property which is the lowest tech solution.
We then bought and deliberated about what to get, similar to you we saw that Yale seem to have the simple installation market sewn up - we opted for the cheapest set-up they offered (we paid less than this, think it was £80), a couple of sensors for doors and two motion detectors - our thoughts were as much as it'd be nice to have a snap of who did it, there's every chance it'd just be a chap in a black hoody with something covering his face, and the less technology involved the less chance there is of something failing.
I think there's a lot in the thought that as long as you have something it makes you less attractive a target than the house next door/down the road that has nothing.
The bullet-proof option is using someone like ADT, but the trade-off of having something that's monitored is it can be a bit spendy. Horses for courses.

Anyone got/tried the AKG Y50BTs?
Just been dropped thirty quid to £89.99 and seem to get decent reviews - quite like the idea of an on-ear set that can be used both wired and non-wired.

patronising horseshit
Wow...it really is, particularly like Strutt & Parker's findings - 'Our research has shown that if a couple sacrifices six luxuries for at least five years, they can put away significant savings' (my emphasis).
So...just don't go out, take lunch to work, make your own meals at home, don't go on holiday, forget the Lottery and keep your mobile for FIVE years and you should be good to 'stretch up to that all-important first rung'. Simple, eh?!

Yes, definitely...assuming @haveo hasn't swooped?

...take away their spade
Having re-turfed the back garden last summer, I've spent a reasonable amount of time making sure any weeds that are present are dug out before spreading - have recently found 'stronger' ones that, on digging out, are sprouting from what look like almonds/hazelnuts.
Stood in the lounge yesterday I spotted one of two squirrels taking these in their mouth, scampering to the lawn, digging a hole, planting said nuts before patting down the earth...little f*cker!

Not a huge fan of the Lewisham ‘gyratory’ and the Peckham/New Cross area isn’t that much fun but overall it’s not bad.
Previous commutes from that side of London have been in from Royal Victoria Dock and Charlton, so may well give it a go at getting Greenwich way earlier (the CS3 way via the tunnel sounds like it’s worth exploring too).
