I have 3 large trees and a massive conifer in my garden, which never would have been my choice of tree. There are a lot of nests/animals living in there and it creates some nice shade in summer so I can't bring myself to remove it.
But in the space you have, I'd say go for it but def speak to the neighbours.

Do love that amp wood sided look with aluminium - esp just side panels with a black fascia - Japanese vibes.
Quite a line up in this collection: https://youtu.be/lEDNHDFOP_A

I live in N14 in the soon-to-be extended Ulez zone and am considering a small used petrol car, eg. VW up! Would want to keep it for at least 5 years if possible.
Is it worth just digging deeper and just going 2nd hand on an electric?
I'm worried about the battery warranty implications on this.Just wondered what the hive-mind consensus is... and if combustion will be taxed off the roads in the next few years.

The outlook is looking a lot better than last year's predictions and mortgage deal rates are still (slowly) dropping. I'm trying to take the 'experts' views and gloomy news rhetoric with a pinch of salt.
BTW a book that's helping shift my thinking lately is The Black Swan: The Impact of the Highly Improbable. The book focuses on the extreme impact of rare and unpredictable outlier events—and the human tendency to find simplistic explanations for these events, retrospectively.
I expected her to ride the white dog aka Luck Dragon up the stairs for the climax.
