-Fly Pantera BMX frame with spanish BB
-45cm 1970s raleigh 3speed road bike (kids or small people)
-Two Pairs of old road wheels (2 fronts and 2 rears - 5 speed)
-Silver drop suicide levers
-Cinelli Valencia bars (31.8mm)

• Sachs huret derailer and shifer
  
• Longish ITM ahead stem (31.8)
  
• Road bike chain (wont fit on 1/8" cog)

1. 700c rear 120oln track rear. Double fixed, one side inc lockring (will remove sprocket) on DT 1.2 rim avec braking surface. Comes complete with Schwalbe mara + tyre+tube. USED £60

2. 700c 100 oln track front. Black hub (same style as system x, sealed bearing) on Velocity D-V white, no braking surface. Comes complete with Schwalbe Durano S tyre+tube. NEW £50

I've looked at the loctite page and know that it can be held safely until I can afford to replace it as im using a brake and im not skidding.

I'm just after some advice from somebody who has actually used loctite before for this purpose.

Ok so say you stripped your lockring thread (on hub) and cant afford a new hub/build for a while which loctite would you use to keep the cog on before rotafixing?

Somebody mentioned alraldite (sp?) to me also?

You do some most stuff up clockwise ... and the other stuff anticlockwise... really most of it is that easy.

I'm talking about sourcing stuff not putting it together.

why do you need a track wheel, any wheel will do

I mean a wheel that has a fixed thread.

the rear wheel is the hard bit to get. I've heard you can get some on the cheap from action bikes.

I am also seriously considering overspending a Converted Shimano XT M756 Hub and re-lacing onto an open pro rim if anyone has any experience/opinions on that? or can recommend a local wheel builder?

I'm relatively new to brighton and even newer to riding fixed.
Been riding around around on a beat up old langster and now decided I want to try and build something from scratch having fucked the back wheel.

On a very limited budget being a student and looking for some tips as to where is a good place to look for old F+F's, Wheels, etc.

It's not an expensive bike so prob no more than 50 quid but depends on what it is really!

1) Shimano XT M756 Hub (front with disc mount) or something similar I can convert and a semi decent rim.
