This is not about the hipster <-> non-hipster subject, it's about plain product aesthetics:

Talkin' of H+Son, Dodici, B43 etc., sometimes I see bikes where I really like very deep rims and their looks... aggressive, appealing etc.
Other times I see bikes with deep Vs where I think that this looks just... heavy, wrong.

Both groups of bikes have in common that they are proper steel track frames with modest colour schemes, so I really can't tell what it might be that makes me like those rims with one and not with the other.

Maybe this controversial perception is depending on the frame size?

If it's the silver one, would you actually consider splitting it into single silver half-links? Single silver half-links are not available to buy anywhere (at least I could not find them anywhere), so this might be a great idea!
