In the spirit of authenticity I will keep it to eight, which tbh is sort of like picking my favourite child but makes me dig deep for what I really must have. My list is constantly changing and depends on what I am listening to at the moment, but here is what it looks like now.
Velvet Undergound, Live 1969
Pharoah Sanders, Karma
Guided by Voices, Isolation Drills
John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman
The Meters
Peek-a-Boo, Best of NRBQ 1969-1989
Getz/Gilberto, Stan Getz and Joao Gilberto, 1963
Vampires, Cowboys, Spacemen and Spooks, the Very Best of Joe Meek InstrumentalsKeeping it to eight means leaving out rap/punk/garage favourites, but thems the breaks. I get to bring a book to my island, so I chose

Sorry OP my musical evolution ended in 2001 and there aren't many revelations here, but there you have it.

For anyone not keeping track at home, England's rainfall so far in July is 150% of normal for the entire month.
July 17 (Bloomberg) -- The U.K. received more rain in thefirst two weeks of this month than it normally gets in all of
July, the Met Office said. The U.K. had 71.8 millimeters (2.8 inches) of rain in thefirst half of this month, or 103 percent of the average total
for the whole of July from 1971 to 2000, the country’s weather
forecaster said today in a statement on its website. England has
already had 150 percent of the normal amount of rain it usually
receives in July, while precipitation has been closer to normal
in parts of Northern Ireland and Scotland, the agency said. -

Be careful riding in the rain. An inconsiderate ped last night decided to ignore the red man that told him to stay on the curb and walked directly into my path without looking. I braked all I could but in the wet couldn't stop in time and had a collision that sent me to the floor. At least I had a reason to take the train this morning :(

Had a short chat with JAMIE on Jamaica Road, but lost you in the mad traffic. Then had no chance of catching up when an idiot ped decided to ignore his red man and cross without looking, stepping directly into my path and leading to a little collision that sent me to the floor. Nice to meet you, will probably see you again down that way.

The junction of Creek Road and Norman Road just before entering Greenwich, they redid the layout of the junction and made a longer red sequence on Creek Road. Every night now is tailback to Deptford. SE will be a zoo with everyone going to see the horsies and new traffic flow through that bit of Greenwich.
