Don't have my Herne Hill accreditation (the one for Newport doesn't count apparently) and I'm a bit precious of my track bike despite it not being that fancy. I'm up in london for a week and don't trust it to be safe locked up wherever I may go, seatpost and saddle would go missing rapido style. Don't really fancy hiring a bike tbh

23:45. Wheel pulled out at the start due to poxy Miche ti skewer. Time to swap it for a Shimano. Anyone know how much DA rear skewers are?
Didn't have time to change the saddle when I got home, wasn't too bad. I think I move forward on the saddle towards the last 3mi putting pressure where it isn't needed

I'm using a classic Flite as that's what I have on most of my bikes. I might put the modern Flite from my road bike on there to see if it makes any difference.
I might take you up on the offer, see how I get on.
When I had my bars lower I kept getting a sore neck and my triceps would ache afterward - probably from trying to lift myself up. There's a guy who videos the riders at the half mile from start/finish so hopefully he'll be there tonight so I can check out my position.
-
Well, it's comfortable everywhere else and I can lay down decent power. But numb nuts is usually a problem afterwards when the feeling comes back. The Adamo saddles look good but I don't have that kind of money to spend. I might see if there are alternatives that I get on with.
I don't really mind spending the money but I'm not that serious about racing. I'm only racing myself as I know that I don't have time to train properly. I think if I did get a more regular job where I could train properly I might be decent enough at them.
-
Yeah, if you just shrug you shouldn't need to lower the bars any more.
I've managed to get a comfortable position by lifting my bars an inch. I do have a problem in that I end up with numb genitals after the end of just 10mi. Gonna try tilting the saddle forward a little to see if it helps at all for tonight. If the wind stays as the forecast says it will then I should be on for a decent time. Ok, somewhere in the 23min.

Can you do that for all the football and porn threads as well
