I still can't work out why people spend so much money on Dolan frames. They're no different from every other generic Chinese frame, the carbon frames were rebranded Italian frames. They put their brand on something and the price shoots up. I hated the Dolan I was given to use. BB was so high and the front end really twitchy.

You could make a Derny bike road legal with lights etc. Only a 50cc engine so I imagine emissions won't be that high.

This is the style I've ridden before. Gearing was something like 100x15. A bit of an arse to start. The style that they have up at Meadowbank seems to have smaller gearing. The above type are good for around 50mph.

I guess so as there's not so many bumps on a track to throw the chain off. But even so it would give you an idea of what to aim for.
On the subject of chain tension... I'm running a Shadow conspiracy 1/8th half-link atm. Since putting it on it seems to have stretched. Twice since tensioning the chain properly it has stretched enough to be slapping against the chainstay. I'm running a 13 on the back so not much to move before it slaps any yet despite the chain being so slack I've never had it come off in 4months. When I pulled the chain out of the box I notice the amount that I could flex it sideways, almost to the point where I would say that a standard 1/8th chain should be thrown in the bin. A strange one.

By dry they mean the grease has dried up. If you're competent enough then you could sort it out yourself. I get the feeling this isn't the case though. Pedals are cheap enough though.
I use my hand to tension the chain. It should 'flop' a little but not much. Find an experienced track rider, try the track league at Herne hill, and ask someone to show you. Track riders often change their gears often so are well versed in tensioning chains.

As mentioned, it's pretty much pointless posting a picture. It's brand new, been dry stored out of sunlight. You're saving £15 off shop price because of a little bit of cardboard.
If you insist I'll get a pic tomorrow but I can't get to my camera right now.
