New Zealand? I heard quite the opposite actually...
they were lying. NZ drivers are horrible. Roads are narrow and windy, 15 year olds have licenses, and most people really dislike cyclists being on 'their' roads. You'll be routinely abused from car windows and have shit thrown at you, while being passed with 20cm to spare.
It's worse in Aussie though... -

No point in claiming to be the best in the world if you cannot deliver the goods when it matters, then bitch about it.
Mrs Bobbo being an Aussie, I spend a fair bit of time there, and truthfully cannot understand where this tired cliché of whining POM comes from jesus for a country that prides itself for being able to take it on the chin you can't half chew someone else's ear off when your pissed off about something. Kiwis aren't far behind.
Who's bitching now?

I've got a road frame I'm converting, which has internal cable routing for brake and gear cables.
I think I should plug these to stop water and crap getting inside the tubes. Is this a good idea or not for any reason? Any ideas on a compound to use for this? I'm unlikely to want to run this geared in the future. -
had my pedals and chain nicked off my bike while it was locked up in broad daylight between 11am and midday today, in the middle of the road intersection st John st and St John's lane, Clerkenwell.
Wankers. MKS GR9s with fit alpha double straps and leathered cages. Obviously easily replaced (hopefully my insurance with cover them) but annoying and brazen.
Maybe they were hoping I'd leave the bike and they could come back later to steal it? -

My jersey is still in great condition, it's the red one w two stripes.
Arm warmers have come a bit unstitched, and they've got 3 internal seams so aren't the most comfortable. Would buy more jerseys but I'm vain and don't like the white stripe.
