Try it at £150 on Gumtree, emphasizing the 'vintage aesthetics'.
On here, ladies I'd guess would want properly triangulated frames...
Nice find, for free.Haha, yeah the tree of gums is the last resort. Will leave it here for a couple more days on the off chance someone wants it. Cheers for the tip.

Hi guys THIS IS NOW GONE. THANKS FOR LOOKING
Selling this for a friend. This lovely red ladies Ernie Clements Falcon. Frame 531 Reynolds Tubing, still has the sticker, badge and decals (see pics)
The bike is complete, all original parts i think. The striking thing about this one (for me anyway) is the colour, even though it has a few paint chips, and a couple of tiny superficial rust spots, the pain job is lovely, this gorgeous mattish red... i don't think the pictures do it justice.
This is what i could identify:
Frame: **"Designed by Ernie Clements" Reynolds 531 tubing, fork is half chrome. **
Not sure how to size ladies frames but i measured from middle of BB to the top of the seat tube and it's just over 53cm. And i measured from middle of stem to middle seat tube/ seat post and it's like 53/54 something like that.
I looked under the BB shell. Found the frame number stamped on but it's a bit obscured/ chipped. This is what i could get:
G05528 or 605528 not sure which...
**'Chair' hubs, made in japan.
Weinmann Rims.
Sugino Maxy Chainset.
Weinmann leavers/ brakes.
SR stem.
ITM bars.
Shimano Altus rear derailleurs.
It's says "strong" on seatpost..
**
Saddle is a big springy thing. one of those mattress like ones...Selle Royale. Made in Italy. Can't really identify tyres. Will look more closely bit later. Will try post more pics if any of you want more.

Let's say (This is now gone) for it? But please tell me if that's a ridiculous price. Cos' i'm not sure about how much this should go for.
This needs to be seen cos the colour is gorgeous, wish it was a suitable frame for me, cos' i'd have it.
You're welcome to come see it, test ride it. I'm based in Vauxhall, around the corner from the station.
Thanks for looking.

Hi guys
Need answers and advice about a bike I'll eventually be selling for a friend.
She picked up (for free at some boot sale!) This lovely red ladies Ernie Clements Falcon. Frame 531 Reynolds Tubing, still has the sticker and decals (see pics)
The bike is complete, all original parts. The striking thing about this one (for me anyway) is the colour, even though it has a few paint chips, and a couple of superficial rust spots, the pain job is lovely, this gorgeous mattish red... i don't think the pictures do it justice.
Anyway... i just wanted to ask advice, about dating it, the parts it's on and what i should reasonably ask for when i eventually sell it.
This is what i could identify:
Frame: "Designed by Ernie Clements" Reynolds 531 tubing, fork is half chrome.
Not sure how to size ladies frames but i measured from middle of BB to the top of the seat tube and it's just over 53cm. And i measured from middle of stem to middle seat tube/ seat post and it's like 53/54 something like that.

I'd appreciate more info/ advice for how much i should sell and anything else that's relevant. Cheers.

If you could guarantee me that £120 for my charity I would. I'm more than happy for whatever I get above the £180 to go straight into my Just Giving account.
I do totally get what you're all saying and so I might consider backing down. I'll sleep on it.
Apologies again.
Of course i can't guarantee that amount. Patiently trying to raise £120 for charity in a thread of its own is better and nicer.
The way you've gone about this one (even though you say it's for charity) leaves a crappy taste in the mouth. And engenders feelings of mistrust and the like.
Good Intentions aren't enough. The way with which we go about doing things matters.

Hey guys, selling this Aerospoke for my brother.
Aerospoke 700c clincher, originally pink currently coated matt black.
Comes with a Miche 16T sprocket (3/32)
Comes WITHOUT the tyre in pictures.
PICTURES HERE:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/e83g374eis8addp/OFKih2jPoo#/
There's paint chipping as you can see from pictures, exposing its previous pinkness. The wheel has no damage and bearings run smooth and true.
There is rear brake surface, but it was powdercoated over by previous owner. My brother didn't run a rear brake though.
He had it just under a year, the wheel original came with this which he bought here off Vince last march.
http://www.lfgss.com/thread80855.html
Still true, it wasn't battered, ridden mostly nice smooth roads.
Any question PM. You can dibs, but ultimately first to appear with cash gets it. I'm in SE1/ By Vauxhall station.
Price: SOLD
Thanks for looking.
