And there's no way of forcing it, right?
I do love Strava but sometimes it's a bit hit-and-miss. Clocked me at 83km/h (50-odd mph) on an (admittedly very steep, long) downhill the other day, fixed on 46:18. I'm assuming it's wrong there, but I'm still bragging! :P
Strava only displays your gps data, most likely this is what is wrong not strava. iphone or garmin?

Garmin are pretty bad with there support. I "upgraded" from a 200 to a 500 and lost the ability to map out routes and follow them on my unit.
I now have to use gpsies to create the route and download it with extra points in every 20m.
The routes function works if you downgrade the firmware but then you loss other functions. So garmin broke the function when they "fixed" other bugs. They pretty much deny that the route function should have ever worked as it did and that nothing is wrong.

I'm on OS10.7.5 which Apple have released some updates for. Now my Chrome extensions aren't working properly and Chrome cannot load Garmin Communicator – the plugin needed for Garmin Connect courses to be loaded onto my Garmin Edge 500.
Has anyone else had similar problems?
Am I likely to get a reply from Garmin help or is that wishful thinking?
Yeap same problem.
I already had the plugin installed and haven't updated anything on my computer afaik. I think it's a garmin issue possibly and not an apple one.
Actually I think the issue for me was a chrome update. Seems some people hve had issues with 64bit browsers.
I can upload on firefox(mac) without any issues. -

Feeling a little better , so Swindon and Lydiard park it is then . Still don't think got much hope tho ......
Only way to get better is to practice.
I think most of the top 20 at Oxford this weekend were semi-pro. I think 2 are going to Belgium to race a season there in a couple of weeks. I say "think" because we're still waiting on the results.
Apart from me there were maybe 2 other riders who weren't on a club.

Ribble are being slower than usual just now.
Ordered a frame and forks and a few other bits and pieces on the 9th or Sep. Still waiting for a dispatch.
At least they replied to my email though, saying that it would be up to 10-15 working days til dispatch. In fairness it says this in there t&cs.
Supposedly they are very busy with bike sales after the olympics. I read on twitter that they had turned off their phone.
