Project dreary stealth antidote is over. A shame the dire weather of the HHSB ride did for the purple of the saddle, but my sopping testicles nestled so deeply into it that now it's sculpted perfectly to my entire rear is a trade I'm happy with.
50 (DA) x 19 (Phil). Went brakeless for duration of taking photos only, which was so brief I can't comment on how the wheels feel. Unfortunately spotter's been otherwise engaged so I settled for taking them myself locally. One thing I need is to up the tension of the pedals to maximum. Despite being brand new they don't have the bite of the Deltas I used to use.

I didn't make it clear enough - wheels are collection only due to their size. Other things I can bring to you or meet somewhere convenient. However there's a vain reason why I can't do so immediately and I'd like to stick to it.
My Argos is finished but I refuse to ride it until spotter has photographed it. Once he has I'm up for meeting wherever, so Chris if you can wait hopefully just a few more days I'll happily meet you elsewhere.

Namaste,
Here for sale some items to help your chakra quest or improve your stylish cycling, whichever you consider most important.
First up;

32h fixed/free Suzue Pro Max hubs laced 3x front and rear to DT Swiss RR 1.1 rims with DT Swiss Competition spokes. Hand-built by our very own 36x18.
I've ridden them for a couple of years so they're well used, but I'm the only owner and all components were brand new when they were built. Also both fixed and free threads have seen use during their time which means both braking surfaces show signs of wear. However they're still strong and true and have never given me a whiff of bother. They're definitely not fit for your Sunday best any longer but still roll a bit better than a beater deserves. Price though reflects their age.
Both 25mm Continental Super Sport Plus tyres are included - they're very reliable as just 2 punctures to the front confirms. The rear is in worse shape than the front (although not shot to shit due to skidding, the vast majority of its wear comes from normal usage). However view it like your bastard step-brother - you may not like it but it's part of the package. I have no use for it so it's staying put, plus it's not quite dead yet. Front is fine - obviously both tubes are included, as is a DA lockring. There's no sprocket and I wasn't planning to provide the nuts as they're shabby, but can be thrown in should a buyer wish.

These were a fun break from clipless but there's no comparison so I'm switching back again. I bought them from eBay - bearings and threads both very good. The clips are extremely rigid - once you're snug they don't budge at all. I think they're a large (I'm a size 10) but they're adjustable, albeit very slightly. Straps are in very good shape despite showing acceptable wear - again they're sturdy and the buckle has never let me down. The pedals themselves are scuffed in keeping with regular use. Finding them in this colour isn't so common.
As the photos show the bolts don't match. My LBS didn't have any with matching threads other than the nut and bolt assembly, which is on the right pedal. I suppose it's quite ugly but it doesn't interrupt the pedal stroke although their heads do protrude, unlike the original bolts which sit flush with the platform. However it's a decent solution as they keep the fixing secure.

Lastly these were bought from this thread. I intended to use them for my Corsa Extra project but I replaced them for a set of Record in a more favourable length. These though are in excellent shape, both arms and rings. 53/42, 172.5 - shields intact and minimum heelrub or scuffing of any kind. Original chainring bolts included, but no crank bolts as none came when I bought them from Jim. I'd like back what I paid please.
**£50
**Dibs on the thread followed by a PM please. Cash only too as flabby Gideon's 70p increase to my Jobseeker's Allowance payment hasn't set my arse on fire. Collection in W10 - more photos/information on request if I've missed anything, plus inspection of any item is welcomed provided you bring me Hoegaarden.
Regards,
'swine.

I like the hipsters attracted to the pavement thing.
It makes no sense to me. Ordinary folk don't perch atop a bus stop when ruminating on how backward their lives are, so there's no obvious contrast with hipsters deliberately doing the opposite by reclining on a kerb being all forward thinking. I can't think of much more normal than having a sit down. Good view that low down too, gives them a scrawny rats eye perspective.

The review in the window didn't say.
Potentially yes, although the manager and bar girl were both very nice - he seemed pretty fed up with having to pander to the sensitive residents afraid of merry noise. A pub's as much a pillar of the community as the locals, but it seems they're winning.
I have a fancy for The Tabernacle - was there for yoga earlier but the manager's always too busy to speak, or he doesn't like the look of me.

Just back from my first ever yoga session in a dimly lit tiny room up in the nook and cranny heights of Notting Hill's Tabernacle with just two other women for company, one of them the tutor.
Couldn't have picked a more fitting environment to be sweating within 10 minutes, with my glasses falling off entirely once my face glistened in reaction to another upside down contortion. I wasn't there for cycling reasons at all - more I'm trying to control stress/tension and generally treat well a body I've too often abused. Mieke's sessions are based on Hatha yoga, not that I know anything about that or can I compare it to any other. All I know is it was tough but good, and a couple of postures in particular felt somehow right. Will return.

Short answer is yes.
Verbose is I've recently started going to yoga and the body adapting to the demands of just a couple of sessions tells me it can counter the hardship very quickly and tolerate exactly what you seek from it without expected discomfort once you become familiar with pushing it more than you usually do.
Back pain's not my gripe but I'd wager yoga will stretch something else so you forget about that complaint as prolonged discomfort is dismissed with a combination of improved mind and body suppleness. Trust me, I'm a quack.
