Cheers, I hadn't thought of that, and it seems likely that's the problem. Either that or it's snapped further down the line. If I can get access to the back of the caliper with the car where it is I might try a careful squirt of penetrating oil and see if it frees it up for a bit.

Any got experience of replacing handbrake cable on a Skoda roomster / Fabia?

My self-adjusting yoke is being pulled at such an angle that the cable is pulling out of it, bodged with a zip-tie for now, don't worry I'm not driving it like this!

My question is whether this can be fixed without completely replacing the cables? Looking at the part and a few videos it doesn't seem like there's anywhere to adjust tension - they just have welded ferrules on both ends.

I used to work for Verco and own a V-smart, they're not that adjustable, just up and down pretty much and then a 'floating' back and seat tilt, so either they'll work for your body or not. I like the Herman Miller Setu and a decent looking work chair, although the same applies. I think they discontinued them due to the mesh breaking, but mine's hanging on in there for now.

Does anyone know where I can get replacement drawer fronts to match existing Wren ones? Last time I looked in to it it was going to be horrendously expensive ordering from Wren, I believe as they have a massive RRP and then 'discount' if you're buying a whole kitchen's worth of stuff.

Forsythia needs a trim

Maybe I've not replaced a few of the bulbs yet for dimable ones and they're definitely an order of magnitude brighter than the dimmable ones at max power, so my hunch is it's the bulbs, not the switch.

Any reason why a dimmable GU10 bulb would be noticeably dimmer than a non-dimmable one? Both 345lm and yes the dimmer is on full. TBH I've realised I hate dimmer switches compared to rocker switches so will probably change the switch back to a rocker anyway and just get smart bulbs for the pendants above my dining table, just seems like a weird quirk.

How hard, in theory, would it be to set up a Rpi4 as a thin client for RDP/VNC only, i.e. connect it by ethernet to a network but only allow it to communicate on the necessary ports for those protocols?
