I'd raise an issue with ebay, and push for a full refund with postage. Sure, it'll take a little longer, but what's happened is nigh criminal. Just because it's 'cheap' doesn't mean you should put up with crap that was passed off as something much better.

Tell the seller that you want your money back + postage + postage back to them. If they tell you to fuck off, you have the basis of valid complaint to take to ebay.

Yep... I've no idea how to tell what type of shifter mine is. It just says QS on the front of the hood! The best answer I can find is Road Bike, Cycling Forums but even then it doesn't say how to tell them apart.

Cheers @rodabod, just wondering where you got the parts from? I visited Condor yesterday who said the part is going to be £30, which I think is a tad steep for a plastic blade.

Was considering getting another LH mirage one off ebay and using that for parts, or just using that one come to think of it, as the LH only has to shift the front derailleur.

I guess one of the reasons for doing your own build is that sense of adventure, so am very happy to rebuild my levers. My levers are Veloce 10sp, and I'm guessing they're around 2-3 years old.

I've recently got a pair of campagnolo ergolevers (veloces) for my 1st build, and the left one is a bit broken. Naturally, I'm wondering how to fix them (unfortunately not much luck on forum search/google).

The left hand one had the plastic gear changing lever broken, but the stubby bit that's left still clicks.

So my question is, how do you fix them (I'm guessing there's a youtube video somewhere), where can you buy the parts. Failing that does anyone know who can fix them and for how much.
