Hi
some time ago I inherited a red Bianchi "Gold Race Team" aluminium frame from a good friend of mine. Now I have to replace the derailer hanger but can't find any decent information about the frame, like when it was built etc...
- Numbers on the bottom bracket are R168-2 and 0904500529
- Number 9 stamped into the insides of both dopouts
Does anybody know more about it? Or any hints regarding the hanger itself?
Cheers

Hi,
about two weeks ago I bought a lovely pearl-white road bike made in France in the late 70's or early 80's (Velotech Stollenwerk, does anybody know anything about them?).
Now I need a 'new' pair of pedals "Made in France" for it, with a French thread of 14 mm x 1.25 mm, non-clipless and non-toeclip. Something like thisjust without 14€ shipping costs.
Please let me know if you've got a pair for sale or if you know a good address to buy from (UK or GER, doesn't matter).
Cheers,

BSA GOLDEN FIFTY ROAD FRAME EARLY 1960's
This is a very attractive BSA frame built in Carlton’s works in the early 1960s - the paint is quite heavily marked but still looking attractive displaying both the great colour scheme and frame's history. A very good budget frame for single-speed or fixed conversion.
I've bought the frame from Hilary Stone about half a year ago but never found the time to make it up. Have to sell now due to moving abroad.

In what stage of the first glance that this monstrosity look great?
Because of the curved tubing the frame looks very playful (which is nothing bad a priori). And it also reminds me of nice lugging details. So much for the first glance.
Second glance: No functionality at all. A lot of effort for compensating an unneccessarily missing seat tube. And by doing this the bike can't do anything better, only gains in weight and production costs. A Petersen for example has a similar degree of frame complexity, but for a good reason: a comfortable ride.

Was at the velodrome the first time today. Enjoyed a lovely, familiar, uncommercial atmosphere. Great idea to use the whole site for a Cyclocross race. Thumbs-up
Also found a new handlebar stem for my beater and fell in love with a wonderful single-speed with golden decals and creme-sided tyres.Makes me smile for the rest of the day! :)

Hi,
yesterday at about 10pm while heading towards Camberwell Green:
Keys and carabiner found in the middle of the road, just before passing the Camberwell Road/Albany Road crossing.Dear owner, please let me know what text/image the metal badge shows and you'll receive everything by mail, or you also can pick up in Camberwell.
I will wait this weekend and then forward to the police (not sure this makes any sense since the keys don't show anything to help them identifying the owner).
Cheers,

Sorry if repost.
I like the Tow-A-Bike idea a lot: Very clever! -

Just in case somebody else is looking for info regarding this frame...
What I found online (Bianchi didn't reply to RFI):
"Since May 1997 F.I.V. Edoardo Bianchi is part of Cycleurope A.B. group, the Swedish company of the Grimaldi group, known as the worldwide most important holding in the cycling sector."
