Customer pays a premium for a kitchen, they don’t want it not as neat as it could be, they also don’t want to make it themselves. Company has overheads, salaries, rent, pensions, insurance, depreciation, VAT etc.

It makes more sense to me than, for instance, paying an estate agent £7,500 to be borderline obstructive to a house purchase.

I put one of those on the hot feed to our shower mixer (coming from an unvented cylinder). We’re on some kind of shared supply for mains cold, occasionally the shower would be reduced to a dribble. It’s not increased the pressure generally but the dribble never happens now. Considering boosting the cold too to see if we can get hotel shower vibes.

I used to use proper Auer euroboxes but they’re not that easy to come by now. Only tip would be that the bases flex more than plywood so don’t plan on heavy loads or space them out to allow for bulge

I’d use dark brown frame sealant. More matte than silicone, should be pretty subtle

Only just realised that the little slot on the battery cover of HRM, cadence sensor etc is exactly sized to be opened using the CR2032 battery you’re about to replace. I’ve been using actual coins, butter knives and fork handles all this time
