Just literally went around the block on my mates set up as a fixie and nearly died! Went down a short steep hill and was some what out of control going onto the to at the bottom. Eyebrows.I'm guessing you didn't get my pm? Sent it yesterday. Anyway I'm in the look out for my first single speed.I've road bikes for years but never single speed.so a Muppet when it comes singles/fixies! Can this be ran as a single speed as is or is it purely a fixie? Also has the frame be resprayed? Noticed the 531 renovated never seen that before.I would need it posted as I'm in devon.I've got a bikes I'm looking at but prefer the retro look of yours chess Jon

TThe frame spray is ok but I've seen better (as I received it). Cassette is 7 did but has a spacer so possible go 8.oln is 130oln, is a great little bike but keen to get single speeding ;-) . I will post if needed, pic link below any questions please ask.

Anyway had a steel obsession this winter, but turning my desire for a singe speed.
I acquired this as a complete bike of retro bike a few months ago.I have basically rebuilt it since.the only original is frame, crank arms, and front wheel. The shifters are 8 speed mirage and saving a few tiny marks are great condition, f.s.a orbit headset, new BB
90mm stem,modolo 44 cm bars, new tape and cables, campag 11 speed at Athena Skelton brakes, sale is a choice of two settle Co or expedia (I'll include septate pics), planet x inline seat post, mint campag mirage rear mech, new kmc chain, mavic ma3 rear rim handbuilt by mercian stainless spokes (pretty sure campag hub) original 7 speed cassette (rare) running a new chain, not sure of model of chainset? Its campag and pretty tidy, recent rings, itm spider 1 inch carbon forks, front wheel is campag omega v with dura ace hub.think that's all, frame is 56cm centre to to if seat tube, to tube is 54cm centre to centre.I also have bought
a record
mech to make it all campag. I spent a comfortable amount on top if what I bought it for.I'm asking £335 for the complete bike

Hi guys, as per the title I'm looking for a single speed machine please. I'm a long term member on ctc, retro bike and bike radar clocking up well into for figure posts.I'm looking to try out the single speed arena as a but of fun an for training.I'm 5 10 so looking for a 54/56cm frame please.I'm based in north devon so it'll have to be postable I'm guessing being London primarily.i like the idea of a Genesis flyer but not seen many others.I do have two steel bikes for sale forever they are on the other sites so won't break the rules etc.cheers Jon
