Lovely old Loverdi with modern components for sale, looking to get what I paid for it - £250

I bought it for my dad but it’s had almost no use and has been garage stored the whole time.

I’ve replaced the worn hoods mentioned in the original post for brand new sram replacements and given it a new (old) saddle and pedals so it can be ridden away.

I’ve ridden it to the pub a couple of times over the last week or so and it really is a joy to ride. The combo of retro steel with modern components is just a match made in heaven. Shifting is crisp and on point too.

It’s a great bike for London as you’re not too worried about locking it up due to the old school frame and 80s paint job.

I’m based near Brockley in south east, viewings are welcome.

Searching for a friend who’s looking to get a complete bike for a max budget of £300.

Open to most options, but ideally something a bit gravel/tourer style, or with space for slightly wider tyres.

Size wise it needs be roughly medium/large or around 55-57cm.

Based in London, so preferably looking to collect and ride away but open to postable/drivable options too.

How much for F+F only?

I got a pair of 32s in mine without having to go anywhere near the back of the dropouts. Perhaps the later models have a different clearance?

to be honest, yes. They felt at least the same size if not a tad bigger than the uk10 technes. You're welcome to try before you buy if your local?

1) £25 £20 - Giro Techne, all black UK10 (These)
Good used condition, only really seen general commuting use hence some scuffing to the front left sole, other wise a nice shoe with plenty life left.

2) SOLD - Giro Terraduro, all black, UK9.5 (These)
Bought and used for a couple of weeks, probably the nicest shoes I've ever had but they are way too big for me ;(

3) SOLD - Giro Empire VR90, pink/black, EU39 (These) - Bought a couple days ago on here, slightly too small for my GF unfortunately. Looking to get back what I paid, which is still a bargain for how bling they are.

Collection preferred in Central or South East, but can post for extra monies...
