maybe as a community we can solve this? FGL and 5th floor clear the air talks? get them both involved. large number of forumengers turn up to act as peacekeepers (but keeping their mouths shut, difficult I know) as a community of like minded people does the larger community have an obligation to step in to resolve?
Edit: im not sure if FGL and 5th floor as collectives are actually involved or if this is just a very personal thing between these two men. in which case a clear the air talks could still take place. they could talk about feelings and stuff...

yeah I know what d14vd_h said an if im honest its the most believable thing but the tagline to that photo of loics injuries is accusing 5th floor crew of going 5 on 1 against him.

Jesus. not having read any of the 5th floor crew thread, frankly because I have better things to do with my time than pissing my life away on the interwebs, if it was 5 on one thats despicable. if it was one on one then ok, i dont agree with violence in any form but whats done is done. move on, grow up and learn a lesson from this shit. and it is shit frankly.
now can we get back to all pretending to like bikes?

Has someone spoken to Jacqui and teddy about what they have to do to keep the tweed run legal and aboveboard and seen what elements of that we can take forward to keep the marathon run alive in the form we know and enjoy...^this. this community is now huge and yes some of us dont live in London. but i for one would love to ride around it and am willing to get up at stupidaclock to do so if there was a possibility we could do it on closed roads of some sort. Maybe its about time the forum began these types of conversation as a matter of course. Its not as fun as doing it guerilla style but the chance to do it at all outweighs that.
VB have you had any answer to the question of co-operation?

Got upgraded to gingerbread overnight on my nexus 1. UI's gone all dark. And has a CRT style "off" effect when you turn the display off.
Seems to have fixed a lot of the bugs from the last hotfix that was causing google maps (amongst other things) to crash constantly.
hmmm still no gingerbread on my nexus 1...

I did. took the hybrid for the short trip two years ago. even sitting down on my most spinny gear I wasnt making any of the hills at all. no chance. but hey it was my first over 15m organised ride. totally out of my depth at the time. next time (next year hopefully) ill be back and trying the mid route. better bike. better legs. better preperation. (did no prep at all when I did it.)

I didnt know what this was about before I saw the video on another thread. just expecting it to be a corraling of riders by the police maybe with some argy bargy. did not expect that. horrific. thoughts go out to all the riders that were hurt and had to witness this.
