forgetting to buy and put on rim tape the day before doing this today is also not compatable. two punctures in 20 miles saw me bailing just outside faversham...

im up up everything packed. food cooking. now all i need to know is what time you will be rolling through rochester. judging by predictions of 5pm in margate editorsfoot i reckon 10.30-11.00 for the peloton to get over rochester bridge is optimistic...

To get round the globe lane issue in Rochester / Chatham you can go straight over the lights in to military road then left through the taxi rank and onto Dock Road at the bottom of the ramp to the pentagon, less dodgy than going through the new bus station but still needs a careful eye. Got to love the Medway Towns permanent roadworks.

or just before globe lane in Chatham (sorry john, couldnt resist picking you up on it...) nip through the car park on the left opposite the car sales yards. over the grass past chatham library and back onto dock road at the entrance to the command house...

am i right in something I heard? that even with 100,000 signatures it will still go to a committiee to decide if it should be debated. so there still no guarantee that it would be debated let alone any bill being rasied from that.
