It was someone else that suggested there wasnt or they had decided to pursue their goals elsewhere. I was offering that Thornberry could be one to rise to prominence in future years.
Im not just following media coverage so actually have seen quite a few Labour speakers or read what they have to say.

someone mentioned earlier about Labour not having any frontline big personalities who will be part of the future of the Labour party. From what I have seen Emily Thornberry has done a good job in front of the camera and under pressure.

I entered this election cycle knowing nothing. im not ashamed to admit I was one of the disaffected. I cared about it but not enough to actually research and sieve through the bullshit.

I dont know what changed this time. I think the Leave vote and the subsequent uncovering of all the lies was a major factor. I voted remain but didnt push or challenge others to do the same at the time.

welcome to the club, I have been quietly flag waving for a number of weeks. certainly my farcebook friends must be sick of me now.

Hopefully this period in history will at some point (probably not in our lifetime) but taught in schools as a warning on how not to do democracy. Politics is just not clean enough and although there are some who wish to clean it up and introduce transaprency for each one of those there are 1000 that benefit from the murky underbelly.
