Iirc it was swedee who made a good post about fitting it? Basically you have to put it back and fourth multiple times and torque differend parts in right order.

not "better", just better. But I do understand custom alu is the best way to get a beautiful custom road frame that will perform almoast as good as carbon or alu frames from big companies

bead blasting with plastic beads or soda? I think theres lots of options for the blasting material

sand is quite harsh on alu frames iirc

I wouldnt go ghetto tubeless for road speeds & tyre pressures

I'd maybe buy this in some other field but not in rim brake road bike category

without even checking im quite sure low and spooky etc have very small variations of 73,5 73 angles, 70-72mm bb drop, 405 chainstays with 44mm headtube just like any cannondale etc

but as I do ride both custom steel with enve fork and a caad I do understand where this custom alu fad is coming from. People moved from track bikes to road and cx and realized that steel is quite flexy. And custom carbon is too exotic and expensive. And bikes from big companies are boring to instagram.

yep another one of these "with everything perfected alu can be nearly as good as carbon" and then add boutique factor and all the sudden price is more than carbonz

back in 2011 when I bought my low pursuit frame that was 850 dorrah shipped. And back then 1e was 1.6 dollars or something

those low road frames seem pretty pointless. No computer assisted tube profile research compared to something like caad or allez and frameset costing more than caad complete with hydro 105

I have no clue how short/long mtb cockpit is supposed to feel. I have 90mm stem now and it feels so comfortably sit up n beg compared to my road bike
