He definitely had a problem with crack cocaine. I'm not sure that makes a person a 'crack head' or whatever. I think a lot of those dudes were pretty liberal with their drug taking in their younger years. That 5% stuff was, if not encouraging, at least accepting of drug use.
I am pretty sure Meth at least said he was on dust and stuff a lot in their younger years.

You guys are too much. A dude posts his bike where he was fucking around with a disk brake and likes it. He has a large gear ratio but also has a brake so who gives a shit, its safe and cetera.
Its probably fun, for 2.5 miles he could ride a unicycle and be fine. Riding fixed with a disc brake sounds cool to me.
You crotchety fuckers should >>>>> to the pants twisted lfgss bike fit thread.

Unhelpful for grinder purchase, but just as a shout out: There are a lot of factors that go in to an espresso's crema. Freshness of beans, time of shot (and therefore grind size/tamping/etc), pressure, roast, bean varietal, probably other stuff (I think humidity even factors in).
It all goes in the mix.

I was recently in an Italian cafe near my house (one that had foods and beer which is why I was there).
I noticed they had a beautiful espresso machine. I got excited when I noticed they had an actual tamper next to the machine. "Maybe these people give a shit about coffee" I thought to myself.
I ordered an espresso and was pretty bummed about what happened next. First I hadn't noticed the hopper, so the beans were preground in the hopper, then the dude bypassed the tamper and pushed it against the plastic thing on the grinder.
The espresso was over-hot and watery. It sucked, the machine was so pretty and the coffee was so non. I read some shit and I am pretty sure one of the problems was if the machine is sitting and not pumping out coffee, the water gets over hot. You have to flush out the water that sits in the heat exchanger I guess.
I almost want to go back there and order an espresso, throw it away and immediately order another one to see if the temp gets more right.
The machine was a Faema E61 ( an old one). If I had a cafe I would think about getting one of those.
Nerdy articles on the machine

I do not like the track ends but I could deal with them. Raw fillet brazed bikes are, to my tastes, kindof lame. I think I could maybe deal with that, but those track ends with raw fillet brazed with the GT style seat cluster is beyond the pale.
