Starting to ride out of town today I was riding in the bike lane. I passed a dude in the normal fashion but he turned (or wobbled?) into me. He hit my back wheel and kindof slow fell over. He ended up scraping his pinky finger.
He was German though and called the police we couldn't really talk. The police came and took his story and gave me a slip I couldn't really talk with them either. The dude is now saying that he might not be able to work for a week. I wish I had that weird insurance that all germans have. I don't and now I am worried that I am going to be fucked.
There was one of those pedicab dudes behind us who agreed with the dude that I was going too fast or something (I was going like 15km/h). I hate those pedicabs I guess this is bad karma for all of my pedicab hating.
I'm worried because the wheels of german bureaucracy (and therefore legal system) are mysterious to me.

I only have my own experiences as evidence but I have never seen the EU as being a cheap source of stuff I could get in the US. Usually it is the opposite.
The US rules on this stuff are confusing as fuck. Just read the wiki if you don't believe. Also, you get those weird cases where you don't get told the price until you try to buy something (if they have discounted it beyond a minimum advertised price).
Also, the 'are basically fascists' rhetoric is silly and reminds me of Rik.

The place I saw it at was here https://www.google.com/maps/place/Mitte+Meer+GmbH/@52.554979,13.41208,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0x830119188ffeaa45
I am not sure how much it was though.

I wanted to try and make the chraimeh dish from here:
https://www.jw3.org.uk/zest-restaurant-%E2%80%A2-caf%C3%A9-%E2%80%A2-bar
So I went to the Mediterranean store near my house and found the small fish and vine leaves.
I gutted and boned them but left the heads on. Then wrapped them in the vine leaves.

Then I grilled them in a grill pan for not too long:

Then I made the chraimeh sauce. Roughly this sauce: http://elrascooking.blogspot.de/2013/08/hraime-chraimeh-fish-cooked-in-red-hot.html (I didn't blend it though). And put the fish on top of it.

The result was good except I think the fish could have cooked a little longer maybe on slightly lower heat. I was spooked by the smokeyness of my apartment. Also, clearly I need to work on my presentation in that last photo.

Watching the wikipedia mechanisms go to work has been pretty illuminating on why stuff works as well as it does over there. I may hate wiki syntax, but the pre and post wikipedia worlds are pretty different.
At any rate the interesting links (right now) are:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foffa_Bikes
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Foffa_Bikes
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Danifoffa&action=edit&redlink=1
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Danifoffa#June_2014
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:ANI#Legal_threat_at_Talk:Foffa_Bikes
It is all interesting including the parts that NebY wrote. Its like an example of how I wish things worked IRL. No 'justice' system or 'penal' system (no fnar) but a system to help people with their antisocial behavior.
