Just use whatever bag you usually use for shopping, but strapped on the rack. Or bagaboo makes cargo bags https://bagaboo-bags.com/products/cargo-bags/

"The ELEMNT and BOLT require internet-connected WiFi to the bike computer directly for automatic workout uploads, firmware updates, route or map downloads, Strava Live Segment synchronization and other internet-enabled features."
Definitely was a problem before, though looking at the second page it might still be a problem for routes not already loaded on the app. Will have to test properly by making a route when not on wifi and see if it gets added to the app while on mobile data only.

this seems to suggest it's only 2 dollars more in the US (assuming avg 40 hour week), and taking into account the extra holiday pay in the UK and the NHS i think staff here might be getting the better deal

If i had to choose between just bivvy or just tarp in Feb i'd prefer bivvy. Tarp is probably better if it definitely going to rain, bivvy is better if it's cold.
i like my alpkit ones, but some find it a bit condensationy. Doubt that'll be a problem in Feb
https://www.alpkit.com/products/hunka-cosmetic-secondsget that and a cheap tiny tarp you'll be (mostly) covered for anything
