thing is, I got it second hand and have no idea of the serial number, dumb mistake I know! another thing I learned the hard way
actually I passed the same place today and I spoke to the owner, I saw the bike again and if I did try get it back it would be so hard trying to prove to the police its mine because he's changed so much, the major things to tell it was mine are gone, like red cables, odd stem bolts, none stock stuff basicly, but its all replaced! he even has the tires i want...
i think the dude was bull shitting to me but i really cant do anything about it :'(
shit.
edit:
just been looking through some pictures and way more sure its mine, there is quite a lot of chips in the paint, if i took those pictures to the police, think they could do something about it? i'm only a small dude who cant fight, if i just try and take it id probably get battered to be honest
get in contact with the person you bought it off
scratches seems a of bit hard sell for police to grab a guys bike.

what about that guy that cut his nose off...
i was a bit freaked out by that.i totally understand how amputation seems mad to most people. but if you think about it in the same region as transexuals. sometimes people just don't feel right in their bodies and have to change it to make them feel right outside as they do inside.
It's only society that distinguishes boob jobs as okay, but amputation as a mental illness.

About to get on the bike for the first time since mid-December. Hurrah for being done with injuries! Sadly it will be a gentle roll around the village; perhaps just a few miles- but it's a start.
woo hoo! glad the doctor gave the all clear.
Quiet 20ish miles round south-east london for me. only really pushed myself on the way back. need to get a cycle computer.

I made a homemade sleeve out of my mum's sturdy homemade felt. I think I knocked the screen though with my d-lock when it was in my bag. Got it replaced though so using home-made sleeve and the hardback folder/wallet-y type thing I got from Evans with my last bike.
V effective.
The Evans wallet idea is genius! Think I have one of those somewhere.
