Seriously I thought I was going insane. The level said it was fine, my eyes (and wife) said it was completely wrong: https://youtu.be/rQ9984rfkDI

I put up some shelves using Gripits last weekend - probably overkill but I wanted to play it safe. Turns out the new spirit level I bought was very much not fucking level at all so I ended up with some massive holes in the wrong place in the plasterboard.
This weekend was spent drilling into the brick behind the plasterboard, fitting regular plugs then filling up the holes around some longer screws. -

I've just used these guys to do my kitchen and I'm very pleased with the standard of the finished job.

If you're using apple stuff to stream music you can set up a rpi as an airplay receiver with very little trouble. There's some info here . I've not got any experience with Arduino so can't help much there

Just got very nearly taken out by a bus who realised too late there wasn't enough room to overtake me after all. Luckily I was able to stop before getting crushed but not before he hit my elbow then drove off like it was nothing. What the fuck is wrong with these people?
I've reported to TFL - is there anything else I should be doing?

I stupidly didn't get the plate or any details of the cab - I was a bit caught up in the argument - so I won't be able to make a report. I know it's not a clear route so was prepared to at least explain to the guy my reasoning, but he wasn't interested.
Bothwell - I'd not noticed that cycle network sign before. I normally head straight up there under the bridge to Bethnal Green road.
Thanks Ed for checking the map - it's still not entirely clear though. I'm going to try and get in contact with the council for clarification.

Just had a taxi driver try to 'teach me a lesson' as I turned off Commercial Street onto Wheeler Street - he thought it would be better to shut me down and shout at me rather than just let me through. His point being that it's a one way street and I shouldn't be riding up it.
I can see his point but the road markings are ambiguous as there's a cycle turning lane just opposite the no entry sign. I have always assumed it's one way for motor vehicles but not cycles.Am I wrong to be using this road every day?

I got called out on Tuesday.
I'd bought a load of new gear over the weekend and it was my first time riding clipless so I was being very careful, half expecting someone to get annoyed with my slow pulling away from traffic lights / general extra caution. Stopped at the first red light on my ride and I heard a voice shouting from behind. I prepared my apologies and excuses, but it turns he was only letting me know I'd left the massive fluorescent green price tag on my tights.

No it was locked in a car park in his building in Aldgate East. Probably happened on Friday night.
My bike was nicked a few months ago from the car park in my building in Aldgate East. Tell your mate to check with building management to get any CCTV and contact the police. They investigated mine as a burglary rather than just theft.
I got a call a couple of weeks ago saying the two thieving bastards had been convicted. -

Morrisons are also doing the same / a very similar ceramic for the same price in bigger branches. I think the Aldi one is sold out
