Thought about tagging you, so you could put it on ignore ;)
The grey Arkose is a bit too nice for pub trips and her old beater is a horrible Dutch bike that's falling apart. I bought most of the bits for a nice, but not too nice everyday bike: A Centurion ladies sport frame, a Wald basket, silver Chromo Plastics and some other stuff. Build a decent wheelset from Rodi VR17 rims, an XT front hub and a low end Shimano rear hub. Couldn't find a JIS headset for it, but was pretty sure I had one some where, so went through my headset boxes today. While I was at it, I cleaned all the random bits in there and sorted them. Now I just need to decide between a cartridge Shimano 600 or a non-cartridge Tange Aero Levin. And find a bunch of frames to fit all these other bits onto... -

I'm building a dynamo wheel with a Shutter Precision PD-8X and a 50 mm DT Swiss carbon rim. Had some different rattling noises and fished out some flakes of brown stuff which I assume is dried linseed oil. That eliminated some of the noise, but not all. Will the resistance of the dynamo cause that much noise? Skewer is torqued the correct amount, I've tried with and without rimtape, tubes and tyres.

Spent the afternoon fettling with racks and mudguards for missXTs commuter.
The cheapo Tortec rack I bought was quite crooked and sat too high for my liking. Made some new holes and offset them a bit to compensate for the crookedness. Used the mudguards from my Arkose, but the fork crown on hers was a bit different, so had to bodge a mount. Came out useable. -

The Syncros was sent to London. @Hulsroy might be able to shed some light on size, whereabouts etc.

As mentioned in the 'Show me your shed' thread, I've bought some Makpac boxes to store some of my power tools. I need to build some shelving underneath the new bench to fit them and some for other stuff. I've started planning some drawers for some of the bigger tools so tried laying them out within imaginary 35x45 cm drawers.

Yeah, quite happy with how it's turning out.
I started reorganising the tools a bit. Bike specific stuff in the left wall and common tools and motorcycle/car specific stuff on the rear wall.
Still need to do a lot more shelving and find a proper way of storing akward stuff such as headset presses, bottom bracket taps and so on.
Isn’t it something about not getting a double punishment anymore ie both a red and a penalty? So if the challenge isn’t worthy of a red, then it’s just a booking and a penalty.
